When we choose a suitable model of plastic granulator, we need to consider about the recycled material type, shape and the crushed size we want, since different recycled plastic need different granulator. For hard plastic material like PC, PS, Plexiglas, Bakelite, polyester resin and urea resin, they are brittle and easy to be crushed to be small pieces, we need to choose a compressed type or impact type plastic granulator for them. For soft plastic material like PE, PP, PA and ABS, they are toughened plastic with high ductility under normal temperature, so they very difficult to be crushed, we need to choose a shear type plastic granulator for them. In addition, for elastic material and soft material, it’s best to choose a granulator with low speed and low temperature.
Also, we need choose a suitable plastic granulator according to the crushed size we need. In order to crush big plastic blocks to be small blocks, we need to select a compressed type, impact type or shear type plastic granulators; while pulverize the small blocks to be small granules or powders, we need to choose a grinding type granulators.
Affected by external conditions and the effects of light and heat, the recycled materials have varying degrees of aging. In order to improve the quality of products made of recycled material, and ameliorate characteristic and performance of products molding, it is necessary to add a certain amount of assistance and additives into the recycled material.
